Founded in 2010, Sakura Sushi began as a small family restaurant with a big dream: to bring authentic Japanese cuisine to Los Angeles.

Our founder, Chef Hiroshi Tanaka, brought his family's traditional sushi-making techniques from Tokyo to create an experience that honors both tradition and innovation. What started as a humble 20-seat restaurant has grown into one of LA's most beloved sushi destinations.

Today, we continue to serve our community with the same passion and dedication that inspired us from the beginning. Every dish tells a story of craftsmanship, quality, and the love of authentic Japanese cuisine.
