Founded in 2010, Sakura Sushi began as a small family restaurant with a big dream: to bring authentic Japanese cuisine to Los Angeles.
Our founder, Chef Hiroshi Tanaka, brought his family's traditional sushi-making techniques from Tokyo to create an experience that honors both tradition and innovation. What started as a humble 20-seat restaurant has grown into one of LA's most beloved sushi destinations.
